We got Cort's 3rd box today, Here is what we got!

The Mommy Hook, I was so excited to see this! I had been wanting one of these, 

they are so useful to clip on you stroller when your shopping! 

Ocean Pals toy, As soon as I held this up to Cort he gave it a huge smile! 

Its a puppet so you can move its legs with your fingers, 

And it has what I can only explain as "crinkle paper" in it so when he touches it makes a noise. 

The Klick-Klack, Which is a great development toy for him, plus I love wooden toys! 

We also got Fresh feet wipes & Cheddar Crackers, I ate the crackers :) 

And the feet wipes will be nice when I bring Cort to the beach and need to wipe him down.

What is a Mother?

I looked up the definition of motherhood, here is what came up.

Motherhood: The kinship relation between an offspring and the mother

But it is so much more then that.

I am a new mom, but already in these past few months I cant imagine being anything but a mother, It is such a blessing! There are times that things get hard, with no sleep, a cranky baby, being sick, its hard! but I always tell myself that before I know it, I will miss this! the lack of sleep, getting up over & over in the middle of the night for feedings & diaper changes!

Being a mother is such a blessing!

And as I sit here and write this I think of a lesson Ive learned..
Last night I was thinking how i hoped my Husband got me something for my first Mothers day, I had hinted to him, but really wasn't sure id get anything because although he is sweet, gift giving isn't something he likes to do, so as I was laying in bed thinking I realized that its not a gift that makes the day special, its the people in it, My son & John
Every moment, whether its big or small is a blessing

(He did end up getting me a card & flowers though)
