Homemade FabricTent // Make it & Love it!

For quite some time I've wanted to make a tent or tee pee for Cort, I think they look so fun for kids to play in! I looked around on Pinterest and found the one I thought would be easiest to make, here is the tutorial for it! http://www.makeit-loveit.com/2014/07/collapsible-fabric-play-tent-for-kids.html

 [Random note]  I am so glad I picked a fabric with a pattern, 
it made it much easier to cut a straight line that way! 

Cort was very interested in the sewing machine and what I was doing! 



It only took me 3 1/2 hours total! 

And I even made supper, Ate it and put Cort to sleep in that time.

The finished product!! :) 

Cort likes playing peekaboo! 

It's just the right height for him, I put afew blankets in it to make it nice and cozy!

ONE YEAR // Cort

Weight: Cort is 21lbs 6oz. And He is 29 3/4inch long!
Sleep: This month Cort has NOT been sleeping well. But he's gotten 2 teeth and he was also sick with a fever and had a cold for over a week! but now that he's over that he's sleeping a lot better, Not sleeping through the night every night but defiantly sleeping better! ( happy momma here! )
Eating: Since getting better from being sick Cort has been eating better then ever! He ate an entire grilled cheese sandwich! I'm trying to encourage fruit & veggies, But he's not to into them, he's a picky eater! surprise! surprise!! So I've been making fruit and spinach smoothies with my new blender and he loves those! I am also giving him 2/3 breast milk 1/3 whole cows milk in a sippy cup and he likes that, through this next month I'll make it more cows milk to get him gradually used to it.
Clothing: Cort is in 12M Jeans, 12M onesies, 12M & 18M PJ's.18M shirts and Size 4-5 Shoes
Mood: Normally Cort isn't very snuggly, he's a boy on the go and constantly running non stop!
But this past month Cort has been such a snuggly boy! I pick him up and he'll snuggle his head on my shoulder almost every time, I love it!

 Loves: His new Tent I made for him, and he loves playing peek a boo with me with it!
He got a container of Cars that John & his brothers used to play with and Cort loves playing with them and pushing them around! Cort also got a Tricycle and he enjoys pushing himself with his feet on it and "fixing it" with his new tool set!

Looking Forward To: 
- Cort learning and doing new things.
- Hopefully sleeping through the night again!
- Playing in the snow more! (once its not -20 out)
- Teaching Cort to eat use crayons. (he's already got eating them covered!)
