Four years // Cort

Weight: Cort is 36lbs and 40.5 inches
Sleep: Cort sleeps great! Cort and hazel have been sharing a room and bunk bed for almost a year now, they both love it! Cort loves looking at a book or two before he falls asleep.

Milestones: Cort has officially started school! We are going through My Fathers World Kindergarten curriculum and he is LOVING it! each week he is more and more excited to do school and I love seeing how much he is learning, Each week he is learning a bible verse and its so wonderful to see him remembering biblical truths.
Eating: Cort has been the MOST picky eater since he was a year old. but hes finally eating more and open to trying new food! his favorite foods are pizza and mac and cheese!
Clothing: Cort is in almost completely 5t and some 6t clothing items ad size 10-11 shoes.

Development: In October we started having Cort take speech therapy classes through the school, We've seen a lot of improvement and he loves seeing "Mrs H" every week!
Loves:  Cort loves playing with his trucks, hes always building Lego creations! drawing and doing school, friends, puzzles and playing outside!
Looking Forward To: I'm looking forward to seeing Cort learn and grow into a wonderful boy, He is growing up SO fast!

Two years // Hazel

Weight: Hazel is 24lbs and 33 inches tall,
Sleep: Hazel has finally starting to sleep good, teething was VERY rough on ALL of us! for several months Hazel was waking up 3-4 times a night!

Milestones: Hazel is potty trained! I started training her just after her birthday and within a week she was completely trained and having no accidents! She also LOVES to talk and do everything Cort does :)
Eating: Hazel is not a picky eater, she loves all things food except pasta. Her favorite foods are bacon, any meat, and ice cream!
Clothing: Hazel is in almost completely 3t clothing and size 6 shoes,
Loves:  She loves to dress up, play with Cort or her other friends, Grandparents, singing, Hazel is full of LIFE and we love her SO much!
Looking Forward To: I'm looking forward to seeing hazel grow and learn more, seeing her personality change and becoming a little girl.

One month // Clara

Weight: At her 10 day appointment she was 7lbs 1 oz and 21/2 inches long
Sleep: Clara is sleeping 2-4 hours stretches at night, Nurses and goes right back to sleep, She is sleeping in a bassinet next to our bed and loves to be swaddled, For naps during the day she likes to cat nap, 30-45min at a time, unless shes in my wrap, then she will sleep HOURS cuddled up next to her mommy :)
Milestones: She is just starting to smile and "coo".
Eating: Clara eats every 1.5-2.5 hours during the day, and whenever she wakes up in the night.
Clothing: Clara is in 0/3 month clothes mainly, some newborn still fit, but shes rather long so 0/3 fits better. she is in size 1 diaper.
Loves:  Clara loves her mommy & daddy, and her siblings, gas drops ;) and being rocked to sleep.
Looking Forward To: Watching Clara grow and enjoy her surroundings more.

Pregnancy // Month 8 & 9

Weeks 31 - 37 *This was written after having Clara*

Due Date: November 21st 2017

Weight Gain: My total weight gain for this pregnancy was 30lbs

Sleep:  I've been sleeping great, Hazel has been waking up alot because of teething so thats been rough. But when I can sleep I genraly sleep through the night!

Best moments these weeks : Getting closer to having baby girl and getting our family photos taken.



Movement: Lots of movment and getting bigger kicks!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope, but dont have a big apatite 

Pregnancy purchases:  Haakaa pump, and baby girls baby book :)

Symptoms: lots and lots of hip pain, been going to the chiropractor every week to try and help.

Happy or moody most of the time: Happy, but ready to meet our little miss.

DISCLAIMER: As I get closer to delivering I am going to be sharing some detail about labor and birth and this as a warning in case you don't want to read about it.

Labor signs: prodromal labor, contractions, braxton hicks and baby getting lower.

What the doctor is saying:
Week 36- 2cm 50% effaced
Week 37- 3cm 65% effaced baby very low
