Eight & Nine months // Hazel

*Last month I was sick and not able to do an update. So I'm doing a double update!*

 Weight: Hazel is 20lbs and 28 1/4 inches long, She has the chubbiest legs :)

 Sleep: Hazel has been sleeping OK, In her eighth month she was waking up around 5 + times a night, But after a visit to the chiropractor she started sleeping SO much better and now wakes up 2 times in the night, once at around 11:00pm and once around 5:00am

Milestones: Hazel is walking along furniture and taking a few steps here and there. she loves trying to stand up in her highchair, so we had to get her a harness for her to be safe.
Clothing: Hazel is in 12-18 month clothes in most items and 18-24 month in jeans and bottoms.

Ten months // Hazel

Sleep: Hazel's been sleeping pretty good! She still wakes up 1-2 times a night.
Milestones: Hazel is walking ALL OVER now! She loves walking and carrying her baby doll around with her. She loves to dance and SCREAM with JOY! She has 7 teeth and says "dada" "mama" and "coor" (Cort) and loves to babble
Eating: Hazel eats anything and everything! loves food, some of her favorites are, Apple sauce, Veggie straws, banana, and all breakfast foods! She eats 3 meals a day and snacks as well as nursing about 4 times a day.
Clothing: Hazel is in 12-18 and 18-24 month clothes in most items and 18-24 month in jeans and bottoms. She's wearing size 4 diaper and 3 shoes.
Loves:  Hazel LOVES Cort, Daddy, Mommy and People in general. You look at her and she smiles So big! Hazel loves looking at the Christmas tree but is SO good at not touching it.
Looking Forward To: Just Two month and Hazel will be ONE YEAR OLD! We are loving see her Grow and learn. She is such a JOY in our lives!

Seven months // Hazel

Sleep: Hazel's sleep schedule hasn't changed much from last month besides her having alittle harder time sleeping, But she's had a cold and is teething so hoping things go back to normal soon and she will start sleeping better!
Milestones: Hazel is still crawling up a storm and now is pulling up on things and standing and trying to stand all on her own,
Eating: Hazel LOVES to eat! She loves anything I give her, but her favorites are still fruits and veggies, Hazel nurses about every 2-3 hours.
Clothing: Hazel is in mostly 9-12 month clothes and some a few 6-9 month items, I cant fit ANY jeans on her so she wears mostly leggings and dresses.
Loves:  Hazel LOVES Cort! They smile and laugh at each other all the time! Cort plays with her and shares his toys really well *most* days. :)
Looking Forward To: I'm looking forward to watching Hazel in all her developments,Seeing her grow and learn and interact with us and see her change and grow up. who knows.. She might be walking in the next 2-3 months!

Six months // Hazel

Weight: Hazel is 17lbs 8oz and 27inches long, shes got adorable chubby legs!
Sleep: Hazel sleeps GREAT! She normally goes to sleep around 7:30-8:00pm and sleeps for 5-8 hours, wakes up to eat then goes back to sleep till 7:30am, nap at 9:30 for 45min, nap at 12:00 for 2-2 1/2 hours then maybe another nap at 5pm for 15-30min. the past few days Hazel hasn't been sleeping very good because she's been teething pretty hardcore which makes her wake up more at night.

 Milestones: Hazel is CRAWLING everywhere! She loves trying to play with Cort's toys but mainly Cort's Lego's and Cars, she can go from sitting to crawling very well without tipping over! Hazel now has two teeth! They look SO cute when she smiles big!
Eating: Hazel has started solids, We are doing Baby Led Weaning, So far she is LOVING it! Her favorites are Mango, Avocado, Tomato, Banana and Peach! She's getting really good at holding the food and really eating it well! She still nurses every 2-2.5 hours during the day and loves that too :)
Clothing: She is in size 6-9month shirts, 9-12 month bottoms, size 2 diapers.
Loves:  She Loves Cort SO MUCH! they smile and laugh together so much! SHe loves being able to crawl around and explore!

Five months // Hazel

Sleep: Hazel has been sleeping great! She goes down around 7:30-8:00pm. I'll nurse her and then lay her down awake in her crib, turn on  her noise maker and she will fall asleep in under 5 min!  then she will sleep for around 6-8 hours, nurses then goes back to sleep till she wakes up around 7:00-7:30am then she will sleep for about 45min at 9:00am, she will take a nap around 12:30 and sleep for 2-3 hours then one more nap around 5pm for 1/2 hour.
Milestones: Hazel is sitting up really good now, But still gets a little unsteady and tips over! Hazel has been LOVING rolling all over the place, she rolls all day long! she also likes scooting herself around in a circle on her playmat.
Eating: Hazel REALLY thinks she's ready for food. BUT I’m waiting to feed her solids till she’s 6 months. For now it's just breastmilk :)
Clothing: Hazel is almost entirely in 6-9 month clothes size clothes, Her chubby thighs make it hard for her to fit in some 9 month things even! She is in size 2 diapers.
Loves:  Hazel loves her Daddy, any time she sees him she just lights up and smiles SO big!

Four months // Hazel

Weight: Hazel is 16lbs 1 oz and 26 1/4 inches long!
Sleep: Hazel has been sleeping great! She goes down for the night around 7:30-8:00pm, I put her in her crib with her swaddled with one arm out and she sleeps till around 4:00-5:00am then nurses back to sleep and sleeps till around 7:00 or 8:00am. Then at 9:00-10:00am she takes a 30-45min cat nap, then a nice long nap at 12:00 for 2-3 hours, Then another short nap at 4:30-5:00pm

Milestones: Hazel has rolled from her back to front and her front to back, But she hasn't done it much and just prefers to sit up and look. Hazel has started chewing on her hands and bringing toys to her mouth, and likes putting her nuk back in her mouth!
Eating: Hazel nurses about every 2 - 2 1/2 hours, I plan on starting her on solids at 6 months.
Clothing: Hazel is in some 3-6 month outfits but mainly 6-9 month clothes. She is still in size 1 diapers but is just getting into size 2 diapers.
Loves:  she loves Cort so much! She is always smiling at him, Cort likes to try and give her his toys and snacks, Hazel loves looking at people, smiling and following them with her eyes as they walk around, she loves being outside and she loves her daddy most of all!

Looking Forward To:
Hazel learning to sit up.
More smiles and maybe some laughs soon,

Three months // Hazel

Sleep: Hazel has been sleeping great at night! 5-7hour stretches and then she falls right back to sleep till morning, naps are another story, some days she will take two good 1-2 hour naps and other days she will only take cat naps.

 Milestones: Hazel rolled over from her belly to her back when she was doing tummy time, She also is getting so strong and loves standing up with me helping hold her steady.

 Eating: Hazel eats every 2-3 hours during the day, she used to spit up a bit but now is doing better with that! Once she is 6 months old I plan on doing BLW with her.
Clothing: Hazel is in 3-6month clothes and a few 6-9 month items, She is in size 1 diaper, but I think she'll be in 2's before very long!
Loves:  Hazel Loves her bouncer! We just started putting her in it and she loves trying to jump and look at the lights and colors and I think she feels like such a big girl! She also loves her brother, Cort gives her kisses and helps her with her nuk. She also loves chewing on her hands and anting she can put in her month, she really starting to be a drooly baby! So a love for mommy is drool bibs that I've been making [HERE] is a link to see them.
Looking Forward To:
I'm looking forward to seeing Hazel grow this next month, the milestones and smiles, tears and joyful giggles, everything is such a fun adventure!

Two months // Hazel

Weight: Hazel is 12lbs and 23inches long, Her legs are getting so chubby!
Sleep: Hazel has been sleeping pretty good! she wakes up around 7:00am, is awake for an hour then naps for about a hour or two, then shes awake, then sleeps again for an hours, awake for a few hours and takes another good nap around 1:00pm for 2 hours, plays then sleeps for about 1/2 a hour at 5:00pm then goes to bed anywhere from 7:00pm to 8:30pm, Sleeps for about 5bhours, then wakes up every 3 hours after that, during the day she sleeps in her rock'n play for her long naps, and in her swing or bouncer for her cat naps, then in her crib and rock'n play at night!
Eating: Hazel has been eating about every 2 to 2 1/2 hours, she eats about 4-10 min at a time, She spits up some, but is pretty good :)
Clothing: Hazel is in a few 0-3 month items but mainly 3-6 month clothes, Her legs and arms are alot longer then Cort were.
Loves:  Hazel loves smiling, momma, Cort, Daddy and her bouncer, Shes started liking tummy time alot more and loves smiling and "cooing" at us,
Looking Forward To: I'm so looking forward to seeing Hazel grow up more this month and see her develop more and more!

One month // Hazel

Weight: We weighed Hazel on my kitchen digital scale and she was 10lbs and she is 23 inches long!
Sleep: Hazel is sleeping pretty good, She wakes up 2-3 times a night to eat then usually goes right back to sleep! She usually gives me a nice 3-5 hour stretch right away in the first part of the night, then wakes up to eat a few times. During the day she wakes up around 5:30-6:30am and she stays awake for 2-4 hours then takes a two hour nap, then eats, sleeps, eats, awake a few hours etc..
Eating: Hazel is a great nurser! She eats every 2-3 hours during the day, and about every 2-5 hours at night
Clothing: Hazel grew out of her newborn clothes at about 2-3 weeks  and is already starting to grow out of some 0-3 month sleepers in the length of legs and arms! she is in size 1 diaper.
Loves:  Hazel loves to be awake and looking around! She loves to be swaddled and she loves her big brother, Cort loves saying "BOO" to her and patting her on the head. We take walks outside and she likes being in my carrier for that a lot!
Looking Forward To: I'm loving seeing Hazel be more awake and active, and I can't wait to see her grow up even more in the months to come!

TWO YEARS // Cort

Weight: Cort is 28 lbs and 34 inches tall. He did SO good at his Doctor's check up! He sat good when they checked his heart and his temperature, and stood really still when they weighed him!
Sleep: Cort has been doing pretty good with sleep, He still takes a nap around 1:00-1:30 for about a hour or two, we moved him to a twin bed about 5 months ago and that's worked great for him! When he wakes up from his nap or in the morning he knocks so sweetly on his door till we come and get him. He goes to bed around 7:30-8:00pm and wakes up anywhere from 6:30-7:30am.  
Eating:  Cort is still a VERY picky eater! Right now he likes string cheese, pancakes with reese's spread on it, goldfish, veggie straws, yogurt covered raisins, applesauce, *sometimes* fruit/veggie smoothies, and that's about it, everyday, every meal that's all he will eat. Its hard but I know he won't always be quite as picky, so I show him new food, but he usually just pushes it away. and I try not to stress about it!
Clothing: Cort is in size 2T in shirts and 24 month pants, pjs he is in size 24 month/ 2T, shoes he is in a 7 or a 8, and size 5 diapers.
Mood: Cort is such a HAPPY boy! He giving everyone hugs and staying "HI!". He is a very determined little guy. If he wants something done, he gets it done, he can't stand it when something isn't how it should be, and he is a very organized little guy, if he takes a book off his shelf during naptime, he outs them back when he wakes up! if He sees a door open that shouldn't be, or a cupboard door left open he makes sure it is closed. If he or I drops something when he's in his highchair he says "uh oh" till I pick it up.
Loves:  Cort Loves his baby sister Hazel, He is so so very sweet with her, he loves giving her hugs and kisses, putting her nuk back in her mouth and playing "sleepy time" on her play mat with her. He loves driving his trucks around and saying "vroom vroom" "Car!". Cort loves riding his bike around and honking the horn and saying "beep beep!" and he loves helping me cook, bake and clean in the kitchen, He loves his Polly goat and playing outside in the snow! But I think his favorite thing to do is to go to work with his Daddy and ride in the tractors with him!
Looking Forward To: I can't wait to see how Cort grows and learns this year, I cant wait to see the plan God has for him!
