Pregnancy // week 36: Seschloneger

How far along? 36 weeks! ONE week till "full term" and 4 weeks till due date!

Total weight gain: Weighed in at 135 lbs - That's a total of 20lbs gained since pre-pregnancy.

Maternity clothes: yes!

Stretch marks? No new ones this week as far as I can tell.

Sleep: I've been sleeping so great! I sleep through the night basically every night,

I'm so great full! And hoping it continues!

Best moment this week: I'm so happy I've gotten to the "safe zone" to have baby girl! If she was born now it's very unlikely she would need any extra care and would most likely be able to go home right away.

Miss anything? I miss being able to walk around without having Braxton hicks, I'm having them all day long it feels like!

Movement: baby girl is definitely a mover and a kicker! But not as crazy as she used to be, I think she's running out of room.

Anything making you queasy or sick? I had a stomach bug last week so still getting over that.

DISCLAIMER: As I get closer to delivering I am going to be sharing some detail about labor and birth and this as a warning in case you don't want to read about it.

Labor signs: Last week I had alittle labor scare, I had Contractions/Braxton hicks for over 7 hours straight, they were 5-10 min apart and lasted about 1/2 a minute, I went in to be monitored and after Afew hours they determined that the contractions weren't progressing me and I should be OK to go home. I was almost 35 weeks and at that time I was 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced, Then the next day I got a stomach bug and wasn't able to keep ANYTHING down even just a sip of water, and then I started having braxton hicks contractions 2 minutes apart for 6+ hours straight, I ended up going to the ER at 2am and got fluids and something for my throwing up, But now I'm feeling much much better, But still having braxton hicks alot during the day, But no REAL contractions.

What the Doctor is saying: Baby girl is measuring at 35cm at 36 weeks, which she says is normal especially for girls. I'm 2cm dilated and 60% effaced and baby girl is head down!

Happy or moody most of the time? Happy!

Looking forward to: Meeting our baby girl anytime in the next few days to 5 weeks! ahhhh the anticipation is killing me :)
